Hi Gordon There was a planned trip going tomorrow but due to the forecast it has been all but cancelled. I believe 2 boat are intending to go on Monday and return possibly Wednesday. Also a few boats may be going over around the 20th May details near the end of the Alderney thread below. I had an Optimax 150hp for 7years and never had an issue other than a sender that was renewed under warranty. Can't comment on other brands but others already have Martin

If they are newish DI's ie: Mariner/Mercury Optimax it shouldn't be to bad so long as you don't kane it all the time however if they are ordinary old type 2st engines then you will definately need deep pockets. Would agree with others about using one engine, not a good idea Martin
