  1. Some reading on bass Here Martin
  2. Hi Patrick and welcome to PBSBAC's home on the net. I have never tried fishing float in that depth and would reccomend the same rigs as Gnasher and Wedger. However as Wedger says if the bottom is very tackle hungry but of a relatively even depth then no reason why a large float should not work. Have fun trying Martin
  3. http://www.salt-xuk.com

  5. ATB and happy birthday Tim Martin
  6. As you have looked at this from all other angles what about checking out the turbo to ensure that you are getting the full boost pressure. Just because you can pull max revs with an egg whisk doesn't necessarily mean you are getting full power from your unit. If your not getting full pressure then the engine will not turn an adequately sized propeller to give you the performance you need/should have Just a thought
  7. As far as I'm aware theres not one in the club and I have never been on one apart from that I no nothing I see there are some very varied opinions on WSF though Martin

  11. Adam 65 miles is a short trip going to, from and drifting the shambles? We would cover nearer 90 miles doing that trip albeit from Rockley Martin
  12. Well that depends on a lot of variables. Awol will burn between 15 and 25 litres per hour. Cruising speed is between 20 & 22 knots so would work out similar to JV. Tide, wind wave heights all make a difference to consumption. I like you never used to worry about tides etc as Maverick used to skim over the wave tops but larger boats don't meaning the variables make a big difference Martin
  13. That may not be a fair exchange......you havent seen what he can eat and dare I say drink Martin
  14. James I'm sure Tony at Select Marine will look after you. I used him for 7 years when I had a Mariner with no problems or upsets. 21. Those on WSF are now firming up their arrangements. Dean has booked the week off and I have put us down for a minimum 4 days weather permitting that is. Are any other club members thinking of attending and firming up times for any, some or all of the meet? And BTW most of the boats going are trailer boats so size is not a restriction. With that in mind are any trailer boats interested in an away day or two? Martin
