Can't remember where I saw it or if I even dreamt it but was under the impression that you would normally need a slightly smaller prop/pitch in stainless. Reason being (I think) that there is no give in a stainless prop whereas lots of flexing in an ally prop. Can anyone confirm or not as the case maybe?
"Awol" went west looking for bream and found a few, I had the largest weighed onboard at 2lb 10oz. Also had an Undulate Ray on a light spinning rod and 6000 size reel it weighed 18lb 10oz. Amazed that the hook held on but thankfully it did

Well done on a successful first outing. You will obviously get better results as your experience grows and I am sure you will pick up some inshore marks from the guys that fish xchurch end

I would disagree with that statement. IMO hydraulic trim tabs are the dogs whotsits and would fit them to any boat I purchased that didnt have them. Untill you've had them you you just can't appreciate the difference they make. The bigger the boat the more appropriate hyd tabs become... honestly well worth the extra money
