  7. Hi Tony I would like to echo Adams comments. Hope your health improves. Good luck with the sale she sounds like a bargain for someone Martin
  8. Harry I used to use a cqr and used to trip it from the bottom where I believe there is an attachment point. The thing to remember is to put an additional cable tie on the rope side of the pivot point on to keep the warp pulling in a straight line. If you dont do this your anchor will trip in large tides when you dont want it to. The thing to do is when you are down here fishing in company ask to see how your buddy does it. Martin

  11. Charlie Same here, I received no email or nasties but then I do try and keep up with antivirus and firewall protection updates. Everyone who surf's the web you must have up to date computer and email protection. There are several free software downloads that do a good job. Martin
  12. Maverick went out from Weymouth with Peter Senior, Tony D and myself onboard, I suppose this mad us the committee boat Started on some inshore wrecks which were shall we say not fishing well. Went onto the Shambles bank where Peter got his Christmas tree rig out with Tony and myself opting to fish conventional flowing traces with obligatory beads mini spoons and other shinny bits. Well we should have gone to the Christmas store as Peter was the only one on Maverick to land a plaice in fact on one drift he had a double shot. He then went on to land another followed by a dogfish whilst Tony and I scratched our rear quarters. Ended up zooming back to the hood and had a group hug with all the other club boats drifting it where I broke my duck and caught a small but beautifully formed wrasse and Tony and Peter did the business with small Pollack. Not the best of day

You can fish as many of the species comps as you like with the best four scores counting towards your final score. Also remember that competitions with # next to them are put forward into the Boat Fishing Monthly Competition with the top prize in this comp a cool
