  3. What a great gift to while away a few winter days
  4. Stuie I agree with you, there is nothing to prove to outsiders as no national records are being sought. Let the keyboard warriors go whistle and ignore them
  5. Colin it is Martin and their is only one of me and yes I have one boat that is called Madness. What I was trying to say was if you put up a picture and give people a price starting point it would either ignite interest or send em packing. If you want to email me a picture I will upload for you no probs. Send to info@mjburt.co.uk
  6. BTW who is selling? guessing it's not your boat?
  7. Agree with Rob, photo and price will either stimulate or kill interest
  8. Sorry I will have to miss this one, have fun floundering!

  13. It’s that time of year again to get the Christmas jumpers out and join in with the last club meeting of the year. Keith Ward a volunteer from HOW will be joining us with an update on what’s happened in the last year at HOW. The kind donations that have been collected throughout the year will be presented to Keith on Hero on the Waters behalf. There will also be the hugely famous Nigel and Sandy’s Festive Raffle, prizes galore. Jim, may even let a few others win a prize too. So come and join in the last meeting of the year in the new venue we now use, more the merrier so bring a friend or two. The committee will see you there.
  14. Wishing all our members a very happy Christmas

The early may bank holiday is earlier than usual. Anyways I can't stand all this excitement this early so I will bow out and let others decide

  24. They look to be the largest tide available for that comp so I would say yes decent tides albeit ebbing from 11am Tide making until 10:45 then falling away from 2.2m down to .6 Other tides in December are imo to small to consider
