I have half an hour ago come across the holes bay relief road and nearly got blown off it. OP sorry for the thread drift now reels: I have an ABU 7000c Synchro which is about 25 years and is still good, so good in fact that it is my preferred reel for medium fishing including uptiding but alas these are no longer made. Other posters above have put up some good advice

Can still only find 3 Stuie one of which is only loosely related to sea angling, but I won't be looking again as I have run out of interest

That was a poor read for sea anglers, from a quick scan I found just 2 sea related articles

Our day was dire, we usually do ok in this comp but not this year. 1 small blonde landed by Rob (not weighed but guessed at around 8lb so not included in results) I had a bream of 2lb 11oz (weighed at home) We even struggled for mackerel so we retired early to the bar

Madness is still fishing Sunday but will have Dean, Martin & Rob F as crew
