Looking at Windguru for Hamworthy at 9am tomorrow they are giving a NNW force 4 gusting 6 decreasing later to a N F3 gusting F5. Earlier today when Neal called this they were giving gusting F7
Those that are berthed or launching to fish in holes bay would most likely be ok with that but others that launch at baiter or elsewhere may not be so comfortable.
Always a hard call, a cancellation will always upset someone but we are a small boat club and have to allow for all levels of experience and ere on the side of caution. The only downside I can see is it probably could have been called earlier but I can't comment on that as I never followed the forecasts

Dean and I thoroughly enjoyed today. Fishing without struggling to stand up was a nice novelty
No cod for us but we did have plenty of congers, dogs, pout and one channel whiting.
