Phil and I decided to stay within the confines of the harbour and ended very happy that we did.
Started our day around the back of the islands on a flat calm sea. We were instantly into checker bass along with guilt Head Bream, snotty eel, Smooth hound, Dogfish, spider crab with nonstop action. We decided on a move that produced a slightly larger bass for Phill of 2lb 2oz, his largest of the day. A final move up to the Marine camp saw us yet again into copious amounts of even smaller checker bass but I did manage one slightly larger at 2lb 6oz
I unusually enjoyed our confinement to the harbour. We were never going to win the comp but enjoyed a most pleasant and busy day
