    LHW Multipliers?

I fish coarse lhw, sea multipliers rhw & sea fixed spools lhw. Horses for courses ect. You won't know till you have spent the cash and tried. I think in the heavier fishing I want the handle on the right for cranking power (yes Jim, strong right wrist etc ect!!!!!). But for the more delicate / sensitive fishing, I would prefer to hold the rod (calm down Jim (and Nige)) in my right, such as in coarse fishing. Rob

  16. Bit of T-cut and some elbow grease and it will be fine!! Goodluck Graham, you should end up with something "just right" - new name!!!! Looks like a Wilson Flyer to me. Just ensure it has dry bilges, ESP if it is foam filled. Some for the old foam was absorbent and hold water making it heavier than it should be!! Rob
  17. Ah, bless! It's like an argument in an OAP sheltered accommodation lounge, at least they won't remember it in 5 mins!! Lucky AWOL has a plotter with track so they can work out where they came from!!!
  18. Dave, I think the beach lifeguards are partly council funded. Hope you or your family never need them! Rob
  19. I didn't too young and too innocent! Is "Hodling" something from the 50's?
  20. 2 Weekends of knocking fish off would look suspicious!!! (and it wasn't his boat so he would have had to swim ashore!)
  21. I had a look at the mag but didnt see his ugly mug! Maybe my eyesight is going! It could have been pics from the Alderney trip that Tom would have sent in. Also, Dave B fished the 2010 Open on JV with Adam as Skipper so who knows! Rob
  22. Brilliant Kev! That is one turbot sized flounder! If they was all that size I might fish for them! You've done Bob proud! Rob
  23. It surprises me how many BIG boats (motor cruisers, gin palaces and yachts) are moored in christchurch! I am sure most of them have to leave and return on a high tide! For the last couple of times Nige, 1m seems enough to creep over the bar. But high pressure and / or swell can easily muck that up! Hope you had a good trip, Rob
  24. Now there is the spirit of the club in action! Well done Mick!! Rob
