  1. Neil from Bournemouth Fishing Lodge has made quite a number of Bass fishing videos too. Have a look at his Channel on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/bassfishingpoole?hl=en-GB Rob

  3. My Boat tracker alerts once it moves somthing like 100 meters from set location. The only issue with these things is battery drain, a decent solar panel \ little wind turbine could quite happily keep it going. I can also call it and it replies with an sms of its coordinates that has a link and will bring up a map on most smart phones. But as I said, battery drain is the issue, esp if boat not used for long periods. All the best Paul, Rob
  4. Bl&&dy ruined my day too! Not really!!

  6. I've been sent a pic of a big ugly brute by Nigel, and there is a BIG cod in the pic too! Oh, er, let the codding madness begin! Rob

    SMART TABS

I did do a post somewhere, though I got my 2 spare ones from the USA. Last one was brough back by AlunJ. Since then I did find a company in the UK who made a stainless ram that should fit. I thinkn the original ones fail as they are designed for freshwater in the US and the piston corrodes and damages the seal on compression! I found the stainless ones online but did not get round to ordering them. If I remember there were fixed pressure ones or adjustable ones if required. Rob

  15. Blimey! I guess this is why the CG66 system exists! For those that don't know, CG66 is a Coast Guard register to help them/RNLI/Helicopters identify your craft if needed. You upload your and your boats details to the CG website with picture, then in any event the CG can pull up a pic / identifying features list of your craft. It is an online or paper registration and easy to keep up-to-date. https://mcanet.mcga.gov.uk/public/cg66/ Rob

    switch box

A mate of mine had a Tohatsu on a rib and it never missed a beat, I believe they are used in the far east where they get little service and are built to last. Worth a look, but you don't get much for sub 2k! : BillHighamMarine They tend to break engines so might be worth a call for spares. Rob
  20. Not for the first time!!!!

I doubt you will get an etec for that budget! Try the Rnli, they often sell of 40/50 hp engines that are maintained like people's lives depend on them, oh ! There is someone / site that sells them not sure who but someone here might. Rob
