    windlass

A "traction" battery is the hybrid, can be drained and also has high cracking performance. I have one on JoJo for all needs. It runs bait pump all day with VHF, plotters x2 and music. Best of both, if that is what is required - often used in Golf carts for lazy golfers!

How about fitting a capstan, I know some have them. Not sure if there was a write up from Charlie and the fitment on alfresco, but that seems a great solution to pulling in the Alderney ring and buoy. Even could be used I guess to pull an anchor that is being dropped from the bow roller.
  3. If you were a member and have the facility to smelt lead, we have a stock of lead moulds. So if you join, let me know if you want to borrow them, there is a list of what is in each set (1 set of lead moulds and 1 set of wrecking\pirk moulds). Rob (keeper of the moulds)

    New member

Welcome! Before you change your boat try speaking to members who have had or have what you are thinking of changing to. Maybe grab a ride on a few different types as crew so you can try before you buy, and hopefully catch some fish!!! Club meeting this Thursday at Parkstone Trade and Labour club , 7:30 for 8:00 R

    Vacuum Packing

I find the best thing to do when using the vac packer is buy really big bags and space the mackerel out in the bag so they aren't touching. Say 5 in a bag. Put them in the bottom of the fridge to chill right down before freezing and only put 10 macs in the freezer at once. Anymore and they take too long to freeze.

    Boat Show

It's because he hasn't used it yet! Well, maybe once but the lavender and camomile hand soap with matching hand cream soon cleans these men up! I really should fit a sink on JoJo! [emoji3]
