    The New Mistress!

Does she really ride bow high? It means the previous owner didn't have enough leads!!
  9. Have you got it on findafishingboat? Boats and outboards etc?
  10. So, I have a Yam and the engine lift motor housing is steel and prone to rusting. I have once refurbed it but the rust came back. With a new part being quoted at £480-£520 and pattern part c.£230 I was after ideas. Anyway, I got one from the US at a good price and it needs painting, it came primed. Advice please on the approach I should take? I have yam blue/ great and top coat, but I am after the best protection I can get, not fussed about the colour. Being steel and having magnets inside I think power coating is off the menu, or is it? Should I use 2 pack epoxy? If so where can I get the best materials or have it done? Thanks, Rob

  17. Starting this thread so we can see if there are enough boats to make the original reserve date. Just to make it more formal than chit chat on the old thread! Skippers list your boat below for 23 May trip:
  18. ^ exactly, if the reserve date has good weather why waste it!!!
  19. ^ that maybe easier if some skippers can't go but their crew still can. Though we'd rather that not be the case!
