tried A sandeel yesterday as static (hadnt seen the additions to this post), and all it caught was weed! there were definately a few (emphasis on that. . . ) fish about as my dad found on his lure but not even a nibble on the Gulp! ! Dan

Paul, on the boat were using an Eagle SeaCharter 640C DF this is a fishfinder and plotter and has been great in both aspects! with the fishfinder very easy to use, with Fish ID stuff which will turn unreadable echoes into little fishies! very good for the likes of me just a shame they cant catch them for you... lol Dan

after reading of some using superglue to cement knots tight on mono, i was wondering if this is also OK on something like Amnesia (as is is flourocarbon (??) not mono), and possibly braid? im currently using about 5turns on a Uni Knot as a general knot for everything. Dan

yes it is! there are many video software packages that will allow you to take a still from a video, i think Nero software is one?! however the most simple way is to play the movie back in your media player, and then pause when you want that still and then hit 'Print Screen'. Then open Paint (or other image software) etc... and press paste (ctrl+V) to place the entire print screen into the image! you can then crop/ enhance and save the finished item as a jpg. Dan
