    Live Bait Tank

I would agree with Charlie, do not fit anything below water line unless you have to. Bilge pumps do not make good deck wash pumps from experiance from a friend, however the costs do go up dramaticly for a quality unit. Try this site Aquafax look for the generl purpose pump. or Aladins Cave or try here Rule & Jabsco Pumps Hope this helps Coddy

    Live Bait Tank

If you had a deck wash pump you could connect this to your holding tank via a diverter valve. Then you would have the best of both worlds, water to clean down and to flush through the bait tank. Down side is the cost of a decent deck wash pump! Coddy

Hi all Had a trip down to West Bay today with the FPO. Looked at the slip and had a chat with the Harbour Master. A great slip into deep water on a gentle slope. Launch fees up to 6mtr
  9. Hi John I thought it was all to do with the juices that the fish give off in its gut that does the most corrosion. Coddy
  10. A WOMAN'S RANDOM THOUGHTS If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it will always be yours. If it doesn't come back, it was never yours to begin with. But, if it just sits in your living room, messes up your stuff, eats Your food, uses your telephone, takes your money, and doesn't appear to realise that you had set it free................ You either married it or gave birth to it! Insanity is my only means of relaxation. Reason to smile: Every 7 minutes of everyday, someone in an aerobics class pulls a hamstring. Women over 50 don't have babies because they would put them down and forget where they left them. One of life's mysteries is how a 2 pound box of chocolates can make a woman gain 5lbs. My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely. The best way to forget your troubles is to wear tight shoes. The nice part about living in a small town is that when you don't know what you are doing, someone else does. The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight because by then, your body and your fat are really good friends. Just when I was getting used to yesterday, along came today. Sometimes I think I understand everything, then I regain consciousness. I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting fire to my knickers. Amazing! You hang something in your closet for a while and it shrinks 2 sizes! Skinny people irritate me! Especially when they say things like "You know, sometimes I forget to eat". Now... I've forgotten my address, my mother's maiden name and my keys. But I have never forgotten to eat. You have to be a special kind of stupid to forget to eat. A friend of mine confused her valium with her birth control pills. She has 14 kids but doesn't really care. They keep telling us to get in touch with our bodies. Mine isn't all that communicative but I heard from it the other day after I said "Body, how would you like to go to the six o'clock class of vigorous toning?" Clear as a bell my body said "Listen witch.....do it and die." The trouble with some women is that they get all excited about nothing and then they marry him. I read this article that said the typical symptoms of stress are: Eating too much; impulse buying and driving too fast. Are they kidding? That's my idea of a perfect day!
  11. I might be ale to wangle a trip out on the 14th as I am off out of the country again on Monday Coddy
  12. Hi Sinbad I can recommend the nylon rollers you can get. It makes launching sooo much easier. Down side to them is that they do not provide much cushioning when towing so you need to make sure the boat is well strapped down. I bought mine from Crayside Marine I did leave one rubber roller at the front Regards Coddy

Hi Mike Just looked in the Indespention catalogue Recomends nose weight when the trailer is level between 50 - 100kgs Definetly Kilo's or 110 - 220lbs If too light on the nose you will setup the dreaded swinging motion Coddy

  25. Hi Sheddy I use a Navman 5100 This is a mono version of Kam's model I had a small problem with mine but sent it off to Navman, in Southampton and they fixed it quickly for me and upgraded the software. I purchased my plotter from the USA with maps and it still worked out cheaper than buying in the UK. Might be worth looking into. I would agree with everyone that colour is nice but you can get a bigger screen in mono for similar money. I have found C-Map NT+ good but they have just brought out C-Map Max which is suppose to be better. I also run a website which you may find useful My Webpage Good luck in your choice Coddy
