Any chance of getting them at next meeting ?

How do I get to borrow the club lead moulds? Really just need the cannon ball 4 to 12oz if we have got them for a couple of days. Dave

Hi Tony I have managed to make your reel work as it should. but I can not make the next meeting as I am away, is there another way I can get them back to you ? do you live local as I could probably drop them off. Dave

Hi Tony just seen your message the fast cast reel needs a new frame but if you are happy to push it back up with your thumb it is works ok. the other reel was not very nice inside but have now sorted. if you want me to get another frame let me know, but for what they cost I do not think it is really worth doing. if you need them before next meeting give me a shout. Sorry I forgot who gave me the reels. Dave

Someone gave me two reels (ABU`s) at the last meeting to service and I can not remember who it was ( eat to many scallops) but they are done and if they need them before next meeting give me a bell and you can pick them up.

Had A TRIP WEST OF THE BILL YESTERDAY AND IT DID NOT MATTER WHERE YOU PUT YOUR FEATHERS THEY CAME UP FULL. THE WATER DOWN THERE WAS SO CLEAR YOU COULD SEE THE MACKEREL TAKING THE FEATHERS, SO I DEFENTLY THINK IT MUST BE DOWN TO THE COLOUR OF THE WATER OUR END WHY WE ARE NOT GETTING THEM.

Think you will find Silver Spray went quite a way for those fish, although he did have 40 pollark on the Legs yesterday. But then if you don`t look you will never know Tomorrow might just be the day . Good luck. Dave

I think with the bigger tides and high pressure building from the middle of next week we will be ok for a few days. I am looking forward to Bass fishing next Thursday.

From what I have heard it is still not fishing with even the Weymouth charter fleet struggling to find any fish on it? Water is still very coloured and it is probably worth leaving another few weeks. They have had some Monk fish in the nets out of Poole up to 43lb in the last couple of weeks? not sure where they have appeared from as I have not heard of any being caught for years. also seems to be quite a few plaice locally.
