Mike The first one I caught on Sunday I thought was weed so wound in quite hard. They will let go on the surface but if you just leave the bait dangling they'll come back and keep attacking easy to net. I was surprised at how predatory they are, one had almost devoured a joey head in quite a short time. Joey's seem to be lethal bait and it shows how fast the squid can move but I guess other baits will work. Just watch out for that ink it makes a bloody awful mess thats why I didn't keep any. Dave.

I've been watching and listening to all the live bait tank discussions for over 12 months with a view to building my own and at last I think I've found the perfect tank, see below. I realise space might be an issue for smaller boats but for those with the room this tank must be the perfect answer. You could even use it to keep the catch alive. Any thoughts ? Hi Guys, I would suggest you both check all power connections all the way back to the battery. Any high resistance is a potential problem. You can receive on next to no power. TX takes power. Please don't use either radios until you've resolved the problems CH16 has enough carriers already. Let me know, Regards Dave
