Avon redcrest for sale with blow up seat and seat at back for steering comes with stainless steel outboard bracket and a pair of oars
Would like 130 pounds
Also have a few anchors and fenders two very large ones
Possibly being slack water could you have let the anchor and chain down to fast and it just sat in a heap on sea bed sea movent could have jiggled chain around so it meshed until tide pulled you away leaving chain in a knot .just a thought
point taken about the hook eventually falling out but also wire not so user friendly when using t bar most people tend to wrap the last few feet of trace around the hand when doing this and if something went wrong the wire would be alot harder to cut than mono. btw good article on light tackle topeing in bfm this month
dont personally advise using wire on any traces nowadays 250 mono should be plenty heavy enough for anything we would be going for ,just think of a poor old tope or conger swimming around with awire trace snapped off in its mouth
the upright rollers attached to the trailer work a treat i had a displacement hulled boat and did the same a couple of years ago i found that the keel should fit fairly tight between the rollers and then the boat doesnt tend to wander off the centre rollers the answer also is to use a slipway not to affected by wind and tide ie cobbs
