Simon's right guys! This is a great trip - and we have a huge number of trailer boats in the club that could go up. Previous years have seen less and less boats go. PLEASE support Gordon and the club and get your butts up there!!

Just because I can...... ....... I thinking about sneaking in another trip to Alderney in the next few months. Probably just a 3 dayer this time, and no wrecking, just straight over for the bass / flats and then straight back. For my diary, I'm looking at early July, either the first or second weekend. Anyone else fancy buddying up? JV will probably have Bob and Alun onboard.... Bob's keen to see the white hedgehogs.....

Thanks for posting that up Mike - fortunatley it held this time - we came in at 4pm and it was still pretty benign with a gentle F2-3 easterly... but it was building. Foreacast for tomorrow is icky! Cheers anyway.

Not sure about that Terry. Are they getting confused with Cookoo Wrasse? They definatly start as males and some switch.

Nice report Charlie. As you say one of the best things for me was the way the club atmosphere came through. Boats buddied up without hastle, everyone stayed in touch on the VHF and kept an eye on each others back. To take 9 small boats over the channel, have good fishing and all get back in one peice without any dramas is a big feat. Look forward to the photos.
