  1. Thank you Martin. Hope to speak to you tomorrow. BB
  2. Hear, hear Adam. We cannot all sit on the fence with this. As you rightly pointed out,

Hooray, Did you see in TSF that you can now get Vanish in heavier breaking strains( 30lb, 40lb etc) Been a long time getting to UK.
  5. Hi Adam, Thanks for the comp mate. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Dont worry about the hiccup, these things happen. I will sort through the tides and get some dates for you for the bassing. I can organise live eels if you need them. It will need to be a decent spring so stay tuned. regards to all. BB

    Spooky baby, spooky.
  7. Thanks to all concerned for the comp lads, had a great time. Special thanks to Mark and PJ for a great weekend. Bit of practice on the anchoring chaps and we will kill em next year. BB
  8. 27lbs. ???? That is some fish maltese.BB
  9. Don,t bother trying it, its a savage way of fishing. It may work for the toothy critters in Oz but trying to get three hooks out of a doggies mouth without harming it is almost impossible mate. Take it from me coz I have tried it. Never again.BB
  10. Hear, Hear. Great job lads. BB
  11. Not strictly true afishionado, when we fish the Kidney Banks on a roaring spring for the big blondes, we tandem 2lb bopedo with 8oz fixed gripper. Let out a loop of line as per uptiding and it sticks like proverbial to a blanket mate. BB
  12. Lulworth Ranges have cancelled all firing over this weekend. Good news for those that are fishing it lads. BB
  13. My apologies dave, I thought you were selling the rod and reel. Will contact seller direct. BB
  14. What rod is it Dave? Is the reel in reasonable condition? BB
  15. Yes mate but the problem may be that it is a square bait well. Not really condusive to the well being of bait fish. We may not need much live bait coz its a specimen comp. Not many big bass at the moment, a few tope about but they will eat anything and the big blondes respond better to large launce flappers. Don,t forget its a neaps tide so big baits with loads of scent mate. Thanks for paying the monies Paul, will sort it Saturday. BB
  16. Am I correct in saying it can be TWO rods with two hooks, one hook on each, or one rod with two hooks? Does this apply to all your comps and also weighable fish while pleasure fishing? BB
  17. Thank you gentlemen, will pay Mark the entrance fee on Saturday. Is anyone else coming to fish out of Weymouth? If you need to book a berth let me know by tomorrow at the latest. Boat name and lenght is required. Regards, BB
  18. Am I signed in for the comp Martin?? I don,t know if I have actually done it. If not then please do so. Regards, BB
  19. Thank you gentlemen. BB
  20. Your,e not wrong Bob. The skipper tried his best but it is very difficult. Basic species such as Poor cod, Bull huss and flatties eluded us all day. Fish the same marks tomorrow and guess what?? regards BB
  21. Would agree with most of what was said but what about conger when wreck fishing? You need to get that big mother away from the structure asap and the best way is to pump and wind as hard as you dare. Big ballans are the same, you need to drag them up from the rocks otherwise Piiinnnggg. BB
  22. Thank you Martin, Are you fishing it mate. BB
  23. Can someone please tell me the length of Loyal Royal. I need to know by tomorrow so that I can organise a mooring for the week-end. Mark doesn,t seem to be on the PC at the moment. Perhaps Paul J is reading this?? Regards, BB
  24. I know that I am going to sound a bit dopey here, but are the specimen sizes to NFSA sizes. Regards, BB
  25. Hi Maverick, All you need to do is phone the Harbourmasters Office and they can sort you out. The cost is
