    No Justice

10-12 miles on 300 degree line from Bill. Used to be Abbotsbury weather buoy but is not there any more. Rich, I set up 3ft trace 0f 10lb flouro with size 2 hook, Fishtek glow bug shaved down with two red and white floating beads. Rag and peeler trotted around on a 1oz lead. How are you fixed for Friday comp mate? BB
  20. All the best Tom, tight lines. The BB,s

    No Justice

Dont speak to me about no justice. Took Sammy out on last Sundays EFSA Flounder comp in Poole harbour. No fish for a couple of hours so we swapped rods. 30 mins to go he latched into a 2lb 113/4oz Flounder. Took top junior, second heaviest flattie( Lost to Ray Barron by 1/4 oz) and finished 4th overall. Plus he won the boat sweepstake. Got some severe stick for that didnt I. Just found out that he has broken the W.A.S boat caught record by 1/4oz as well. Thanks to Bob for a great day out. NO JUSTICE....PAH!!! a very dejected BB. PS We are going Whiting fishing tomorrow on the weather buoy ground, watch this space.
  22. Best wishes to you Martin, hope you have a great day. The BB,s
  23. 30 mins from the harbour there are a plethora of fish. Spoil ground, Lulworth, Church Ope reef, Grove rough, Bream ledges and of course the bass marks. Sharpen those hooks chaps. (And lasses) I dont think the rock marks for species will happen until a bit later when the juniors get used to various aspects of species fishing. Half term when time is on our side I can forsee a trip to the back of the bank. Nice Undulate and Spotted Rays, With Conger and Bull Huss thrown in for good measure. Mike, the big rays are here now mate. Window in the weather and get out to the Kidney Banks. Gravid females are waiting for your bait. BB
  24. Nice one Rich. Charlie, we would be looking at 6-6.30 start and 9-9,30 finish. These to be discussed at meeting at the end of February, we cannot finish too late because juniors that travel will need to go to school next day. We are going to try and arrange a few around holiday times so these may be slightly extended, with a bit of grub back at the club. Regards, BB
  25. Fully agree oysterboats, I was testing the field. I know that most of the juniors on this site are over 16. As some of the younger kids will be 10-12, the gap will be too big for it to be a level playing field. We cannot really split the ages into sections as too much would be involved. If the reaction is limited in the younger ages then we may think of raising the limit. Regards, BB
