  1. How many/weight in a bag Kam?
  2. Hi Kam, The Mustad rolling swivel is the best all-round. Barrel swivels break for a pastime so I tend tend to use those for weak links to the lead. Ball bearing are the ultimate but very expensive, however these are the only swivel guaranteed to work under load. I use these for gilling and bassing. Regards, BB
  3. Best wishes to you all. Tight lines. The BB,s
  4. Great Martin, 1 for 10 year old and XL for me please. BB
  5. Best wishes Charlie. What team where you in Poole mate? Weymouth had 1st and joint second. I was in the B team WAC xxx. Good comp though isn't it? I am suprised that none of the PBSBAC lads enter it. Regards, BB
  6. Hi Martin, It will be no problem to arrange the pickup for you. Rich is down this way fairly often but I could also run them up if necessary. Payment will not be a problem as I can pay or get them on my account, then you can just pay the invoice on receipt. Regards, Billy
  7. So what is the total order and the anticipated price lads? Maybe I can negotiate a tad more.
  8. If you need them picked up and delivered just drop me a line and will do. No problem. BB
  9. What a cracking fish Tom, especially early season mate. Could be a British record by end of season. They are very territorial so it may stay in the same place. You are dead right about the colouring Bob, depends on all sorts of things as well as where they are living; kelp, rock, mixed ground etc. Well done again Tom. The BB,s

    Welcome spurdog, enjoy. the BB,s
  14. Alun, May be interested in 7000 if it has a lever drag. Ideal for Sam my son on the boat. BB Sorry mate, I meant a level wind, not lever drag.
  15. Fished an EFSA comp on Saturday and Sunday from Hayling and it was everywhere. Couldnt fish some marks because of it. Cant see it harming the fish though as when we fished through it there were fish there. It might help as it may put anglers off the marks. BB

    Cuttle Fish

Yes please newboy, I will have some. What quantities are they in and are they fresh or frozen? BB
  21. No problem, Remember that with a bit of invention you can swap this trace about, weight at the bottom gives a good paternoster rig. you can lengthen or shorten as required, 6-7 ft for the slackish tides down to 2-3 ft for big tides. BB
  22. Wishing you a very happy birthday Adam. Have a couple for me tonight mate. Tight lines, the BB,s
  23. Newboy, It is a 3-4 ft long trace with three hooks that clips to the end of a sliding boom. Scratching just means small hooks ie 4-6. You can build several variations into the rig by having smaller or larger hooks, less hooks, change line diameter etc. Probably the most succesful match boat rig mate. Give me your addres and I will send you a sample for you to play with and experiment with your own versions. Regards, BB
  24. You are right Paul in that Easterly winds are the worst as far as Weymouth is concerned, no shelter mate. The wrasse are also thin on the ground this time of the year although there are a few 3 lbers about. If it is anything above a force 4 dont bother. BB
  25. And me but I signed the very same petition 6 months ago on Total-Fishing. Lets hope enough sign for the powers that be to take notice. BB
