I second that, The more fish we put back the longer the fishing will last. We get good turn out and a good competition without the need to slaughter fish. Even our one comp where we weigh in only the best fish are brought in and some of those are kept alive to go back in after the weigh in. You and anyone else that has a liking for this type of fishing are more than welcome to join the Club and enter the friendly competitions if you wish. Charlie

I am sure that the people of Dorset will be glad to see this crew depart. I do not know how they were allowed to enter Gods country and as for tampering with the undersized fish of the Bristol Channel disgusting that is what it is . Should never be allowed. It does remind me of many hours [ Day and Night ] fishing on simular marks all along the Channel. unfortunatly back then the fishing was also poor. Which is why I no longer live in Somerset and now leave my beach rods in the loft. I hope you all had a good day, nice to see such an in depth report Tight lines at Chesil Charlie

On Sunday we had over a dozen whiting with the best at 2lb 14oz. And the charter boats were into a few. as the tide died so did the whiting fishing, so the bigger tides this weekend should be better. Hope to get out at some stage this weekend, but not Sat AM. Tight lines Charlie
