i know this might sound silly but my mate fishes alot round west and fishes one rod hard on the bottom and with his other rod trots a very big homemade pirk back in the tide hopping it 5 to 10 ft each time covering alot of ground and alternates sides as he does it, and he couldnt see how this works but he had 2 fish on his last trip of 10 and 15lb round by dancing ledge right in close, so it must work i am very tempted to try it next time sam ps have spoken to him today at schl and what his pirk is is a normal pirk with the hooks covered in blue and red fluff off of normal feathers. hope this is of some interest

thnx mike that could be some help when emptying the fuel tank dad found pieces of rubber soil of the tanks we use to fill the boat with, so he thinks these were getting stuck in the pipe. sam

i day would have been good down to the boat at 8 engine wont start after 2 hours of cleaning the fuel line we left the yacht club half way up the harbour engine goes again anchor down fuel lines blocked limped back to yacht club on a bucket of diesel and dad is now taking apart the boat to find the problem sam

i think that is the same boat as mad mike, i have fished on her nad she is very comfy and can easily fish 3 because we did so and it has nice high sides this boat buying is spreading sam

duncan, i think it is nicer to fish with more people wider knowledge and all that, and it would be nice to take people who would not always be able to go that distance in there smaller boats, and it would help me and daniel to learn things that we did not already know.

i have never been one for keeping lots of fish i just dont like the idea, up in burnham i even put back a thornie that could have been close to a prize just to see it swim away. the only fish i have ever brought bucket loads of them in is mackeral because there is just so many of them and they are my favourite tasting fish. i am also a great shark lover and wouldnt even give the time of day to someone who kills sharks all the time its sick!!!! sam

we were bream fishing with circle hooks and dad caught a 40lb tope and it was only able to be landed because it was caught in the lip. sam

hi tom i agree with you about the smoothhound and conger and we brought both to the weigh in i feel the same about fish conservation the only reason they both didnt go back because when put in the livebait tank they were both bleeding heavily and we didnt think they would survive. i think this could be a good idea but the problem is i won a prize yesterday and my fish was only about 60%. sam

our day was not so productive we were ment to be heading down to the sky but a change back to our boat instead of garys ment it was to far so headed for a small wreck in hope of a conger, 1 conger in the hole day how rubbish, dad probably saved the day with a 12lb smoothhound because all i caught were doggies and pout. but something good did come out of it we all won prizes. dad:
