Graham Nash Posted March 1, 2012 Report Posted March 1, 2012 I know that some of the comments here have been posted slightly in jest but ...... concerning the legality of razor blades round the electrics (and glass on the top of a wall) Offences (criminal) committed? None, but the householder/boat owner could be sued for damages under the Occupier Quote
Brian Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 Probably just my suspicious mind, but someone on WSF is looking for cables for a Lowrance Chart Plotter!!! Cables wanted Quote
niggle Posted March 10, 2012 Author Report Posted March 10, 2012 Went down to boat today to run her up and been raided again this time aux fuel tank, they just cut the fuel pipe off. Simon the owner was there and apparantly Wednesday night he was at home and checked the CCTV on his computer and saw people in marina. His wife phoned the police while he and his son rushed down there. He chased one that leaped over a wide bush into a water filled ditch,by this time police were everywhere. They had also stolen some kayaks and paddled over to Rositers where the police arrested some suspects. The police response was excellent with numerous units including dogs and armed response, four of the six were caught and arrested and are now on bail, apparantly one was a well known criminal from the Ferndown area. I am so pleased for Simon the owner of Ribs and all boat owners in that area as hopefully this gang will be brought to justice or at least deterred from boat thefts Nige Quote
Maverick Martin Posted March 10, 2012 Report Posted March 10, 2012 Sorry you been done again Nige but pleased to hear the culprits will be deterred for a while Martin Quote
lofty Posted March 10, 2012 Report Posted March 10, 2012 "They had also stolen some kayaks and paddled over to Rositers where the police arrested some suspects" Wonder if this is what the scrotes use to rob boats? Did they pinch them or did they bring them with them because you'd need paddles too!? Quote
