I know it can all change by Sunday....BUT !! .... having been all over the place for the past couple of days, they are firming up on a horrid looking day, with rain and wind, wind , wind !!.......I see 30 mph and gusts over 40!

Will it still be on if this happens?? ...is there a 'reserve' date if not?

If restricted to harbour James you will need to bring your boat to poole harbour.

I will talk to Neal and Dave S over the next few days to formulate a plan.

Looks like a complex low is sat in the Western Approaches on Saturday, with another over the Baltic and a ridge of high pressure over the UK - meaning Saturday is looking like fair weather and light winds.

The entire air mass looks like moving to the East on Sunday, with the high pressure ridge narrowing and moving to the Benelux countries, and the Low from the Western Approaches moving in over Britain, generating SE winds that I'd estimate at F5 on Sunday from the isobars, but this could be anywhere from F4 to F6 depending on if the low deepens or not.

The location of the actual fronts on Sunday are difficult to predict this far out, but the leading warm front associated with the low could be in the region of the Channel, or over N.France. If it stays South it could well be dry and clear - but if it comes North there's a risk of continual light rain/drizzle.

So...still early days, but it might be lumpy out at sea in Poole Bay.

Rob My boats on a mooring and my trailer is in storage and cant get it out with out a lot of bother(moveing several cars caravans and trailers and driving a long way!), could only fish from christchurch. Theres a lot of weed in the harbour at the moment tho so fishing lower christchurch and the run would be hard work anyway. Bl@@dy weather! im best off staying in bed!

Good luck with the forecast and the decisions that you will need to make

I am sure rob and all involved will make the best decision for all.
