Adam F
If you have been following the thread in the Club section, you'll see that I am organising a video shoot of club boats for a special 25th Anniversary Video shoot. The first date to try will be Sunday 8th May - we need decent weather conditions as much of the footage will be filmed by drone, which needs calm winds to fly effectively. The plan will be to rendezvous in Studland Bay early morning, where we will organise the boats from the Control Vessel which Jim the Cameraman will be stationed on. Clearly simply having a dozen or so boats zooming about is going to be tricky to organise, so this way everyone gets a slot with the camera and a chance to be filmed in clear water without loads of others cluttering the shots. Rob Francis and myself will then clip the footage into a 4/5 min promo video to be released at the 25th Anniversary Party! In addition we will produce separate clips for all boats and skippers to be handed to them personally. If you want to see the sort of thing we will be aiming to do have a look here: Who's in? 1 - Joint Venture - Aquafish

Jim
It'll get sorted one way or another even if I have to bring my own ground crew. Safety is the most important thing so as we get nearer I'll do what's necessary. Jim PeterH
jerry.shutter
Loobie 111 would love to join in but very unlikely, I look forward to seeing what no doubt will be an impressive line up.
Rob
I guess that the waterski area would be preferable with shelter from Arne in the predicted SE wind? Esp as we have plenty of water all morning till past lunchtime. Stuie
Maverick Martin
Speed limit still applies unless you buy a permit and are towing a skier, who's volunteering to ski
Adam F
Also not sure it's the best area to film, the wind isn't too big so if it holds it should be fine, although Jim will make the final call I guess.
