great white
Not at Cobbs but I have done a few trials over the years at Parkstone YC Finding that darker colours work best, but teh makes vary from year to year as to which is best We now use International Interspeed in Black on Alfresco
Coddy
Hi Brian Have a look here https://www.smlmarinepaints.co.uk/antifouling at Jotun paints Used to use it on Lady C when moored down at the RNLI and it only seemed to get slim build up which washed off easily. As Charlie suggested found very dark colours worked best.
Neal
If you look inside the Cobbs Chandlers they usually have special offers on Anti foul. They sell huge amounts............ Buy the self eroding and self polishing one appropriate to the boat usage and speed. How often do you use the boat? Is it permanently in the water? If your usage is low and the boat isn't kept in the water - you don't need it all. And if it is just a garden ornament ....................... sparky
I used to use International Micron 2 which was really good, bur it has got very expensive Brian. Tried Hempel Tiger Extra this year after lots recommendations from other members who use it , it seems ok at the moment and it is practically half the price of the International! Jim
Jim,s got one of those!!! : Indeed. Tiddler's been out once this year. Just start the engine every now & again to keep her running sweet. It'd be a great bargain if I ever decided to sell it ! Less use than a new one ! Still . . . . . . gives me somewhere to keep the plant pots. sparky

Jim
Thinking about putting on F pontoon at Cobbs, hopefully get more use out it. You probably haven't even thought of this Brian ! There's a BAR at Cobb's so if you just happen to get dehydrated whilst on the water you could top up your fluid levels. Wouldn't have crossed your mind I expect. Brian
Too late, already thought about that, also bribed Diane with the offer of food there. niggle and Jim
Maverick Martin
Brian I have used seajet 033 shogun antifouling paint in black for the past 2 years with decent results Brian
Kingfisher 126
I use the same as Mick and since I started to use it in black the hull only gets a slime on it after a year, may be if I could go faster most of that would wash off!!! . Ark
Brian Welcome to the council estate 👍👍 Well that's what all those posh people call it on A & B 🤓🤓 Don't forget you can get a discount if someone introduces you, if it's still going Jim

Neal
Brian, I agree with Mick on the Hempel Tiger Extra - I changed to it and it was the best product I have used for many years - and at a good discount at the Cobbs Chandlers. Try getting into the dry stack - no anti foul required and a quick phone call before leaving home and it's in the water ready to go!
Brian
I've done the deed, got a berth on F pontoon. I've been dry stored at Rockley, but want the option of going out in the evening at short notice.
