Steve S Posted December 8 Report Posted December 8 Weather permitting and it looks ok on the current forecast there will be a Flounder comp on the 14th and 15th December. Usual rules put your name down. Before the comp starts say which day you are fishing. Quote

Jim Posted December 14 Report Posted December 14 Come on then Dave & co. How did you do? You've had a lovely day for it. Did you save a few for us? 😃👍 great white 1 Quote
Maverick Martin Posted December 15 Report Posted December 15 So Madness had a day in the harbour without a single flounder to report We did have a few bass which were mostly small Steve S, Wight Magic, Jim and 3 others 6 Quote
Jim Posted Monday at 06:59 AM Report Posted Monday at 06:59 AM Look on the bright side Martin. We DID feed a lot of CRABS. 🤪 Seriously though. It was still a great day out. Plenty of banter and a good laugh. Thank you Skipper. 👍 Maverick Martin, Steve S, great white and 2 others 5 Quote
jerry.shutter Posted Monday at 07:30 AM Report Posted Monday at 07:30 AM Loobie1V had a day similar to Madness but a bottle of Rioja went into the mix. We did however manage a Dab which is another species, well done J2!!! A very sad picture of the fish stocks in the harbour, water temperature was 9.8 degrees so goodness knows, the main bird life was Commorants so i am sure that answers quite a few questions. Only the secret squirrel stealth craft (Capt Evans) to report anything otherwise Blankety Blank, but it was a lovely day and great craic. Well done those who entered. boyscott, Graham Nash, Jim and 4 others 7 Quote

plaicemat Posted Monday at 04:48 PM Report Posted Monday at 04:48 PM Is it, perhaps, time to admit defeat and have a Christmas harbour species comp? Obviously, if a flounder was caught it would count double. Terry. Jim 1 Quote
Jim Posted Monday at 04:55 PM Report Posted Monday at 04:55 PM Will crabs be included? I can catch them devils. 😃 Colin-58 1 Quote

jerry.shutter Posted Monday at 05:18 PM Report Posted Monday at 05:18 PM Terry, that's a pretty good call, it does mean of course that as the instigator you would have to join us fishing!! Hope your doing ok and look forward to seeing you in the spring. plaicemat 1 Quote
