Is there a rod limit? Just so i have an understanding. Thanks, Dale Gummage 1 Quote

jerry.shutter Posted April 29 Author Report Posted April 29 Dale well done for entering, there are rules and regs on the Club Website third one down in the competitions section, saying about pretty much everything like number of rods, number of hooks, times etc. However obviously everything is done on trust and having fun. Any questions do post again. I will post 48hrs beforehand about weather. Its really good we have a few boats entering and time for more yet Gummage, Maverick Martin and Jim 3 Quote

jerry.shutter Posted Sunday at 08:26 AM Author Report Posted Sunday at 08:26 AM One week to go before the Bream Comp, around 20 anglers and 7 boats signed up we have a competition, which is great news, and hopefully a few more boats to enter. Don't forget juniors there are prizes, and seniors get your name on that trophy. Lets get lots of pictures, and perhaps keep count of males and females to help those needing that information to help the future of the bream and our sport. I will post weather report on Thursday/Friday great white and Jim 1 1 Quote

Mal Thomas Posted Thursday at 12:29 PM Report Posted Thursday at 12:29 PM It is with a heavy heart both Jerry and myself feel the coming weekend forecast is not favourable for small boats exiting the swash, Chris has been out today on a smaller wind forecast and said it was very lumpy. Watch for a new date asap. Colin-58, jerry.shutter, Leicester Fisheagle and 2 others 3 2 Quote
Greg Posted Thursday at 01:58 PM Report Posted Thursday at 01:58 PM Thank you Mal and Jerry,Let’s hope we can get out on another date.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Colin-58 Posted Thursday at 06:45 PM Report Posted Thursday at 06:45 PM Yes Mal and Jerry, safety first as disappointing as it is for people that have made plans. I couldn't make it but possibly can on the new date 👍 Greg 1 Quote
great white Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago Thanks Mal Wendy and I were out yesterday and there was a lot of big swells about. We had a few female bream tucked in close and a few plaice. But the swells changed out plans and weed in the swash was a pain when flatty fishing Jim and Greg 2 Quote
Kingfisher 126 Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago The swash and inshore were unfishable earlier yesterday so I pushed out to deeper water for some bassing until the wind died down. It did, and became very pleasant had a few nice bass then came in and tried for some bream, showing but the LSDs and smoothounds only coming to the boat. Got fed up with loosing tackle so went plaice fishing in the swash, had a few small ones but the weed as Charlie said was like bringing in a washing line! Defo fish bite least when the wind is in the east. 🫣 Still nice to be out and not at work. 🤷 Carl James, Colin-58, Jim and 2 others 5 Quote
