BOT attack on our website

This morning we had a bot attack to our site, presumably in an attempt to hack into it. Freeola spotted the attack and suspended the site. they have implemented a fix to stop the type of attack used. Unfortunately this may have stopped some features working.

 

Mark is onto the problem to get us back to full working order, hopefully not too long but we can't guarantee that. We will keep you posted here. The site will be down at some point today while an upgrade is applied.

The site should be working normally now. If you get any issues let us know here.

 

Warning, If we get another Bot attack it may get suspended again.

 

Mark is looking for a better solution.

surely that depends on the website?

Mark has implemented a work round that should allow the site to work properly even with another of the same bot attack.
