Maverick Martin Posted July 24 Author Report Posted July 24 So we followed through with the plan to fish some offshore banks. Out through the 7:30 bridge lift We visited 3 in total with very little return. 1st mark should have produced. We really did try hard but no rays, bass or anything much we did however managed some Mackerel, small congers, loads of Scad and a solitary dogfish. We decided on a move to the 6 mile bank. that was totally barren so off to the South West Banks. Here we had a few more mackerel, loads more scad, one solitary Bream and a nice sized (but not huge) Bass. We did get bit off a few times which we guessed were tope.
