I'd love some Ash Terry.
Yes please.
The bigger the better.
It's not for turning.
It's to go on my CNC router. This is it being moved to the far end of the garage with the aim of closing it all off to reduce mess and noise.
Hope to get it ready soon. ð
No fishing for me.
Took some time off the jobs at home to go and watch my Grand daughter in an army cadet march at Poole Park.
One very proud Grandad! ð
What was the tree Terry?
I got my hands on a short piece of Beech the other day. There's a pattern running through it that looks like a butterfly.
It'll be a while before it's dry enough for me to carve but looking forward to it.
Had to carry it under my arm for Â― a mile and Daisy wanted me to throw it for her. ð
I bought a cheap one off Fleabay a couple of years ago.
Sloppy holes for the spindles. Soft metal for the cogs. . . . . . Threw it in the Bin and went to Force Four.
Paid more but well worth it.
Slightly off subject.
I have a floatation suit. Hardly used. Free to a member for a couple of quid in the club's charity box.
VERY warm in the winter.
Size . . . . . it fits Me!
Yes I did the same and I guess I'll never use it.
Anyone want a 240 volt polisher?
It looks like a 9 inch angle grinder but it's much slower.
It's free. Just bung a couple of those "coin of the realm" things to the NCI at the next meeting or something like that.
Jim
Terry,
I have an electric polishing mop you can have.
It is mains powered though so not sure about safety rules or availability of 240 volts. Although yours is dry stacked so could be lifted onto a safe place to work on it.
