That would be an interesting challenge Colin. It's impossible to carve something from a photo without expert art & sculpting skills but I've managed it a few times. ðð Yes I'm up for it. Can you bring me some bits of a similar size please. It needs to be seasoned or it will warp & split all over the place. Are you coming to Feb's meeting?

Hi Brook, That's an old post from August 2020. Now that I have a dog I won't be kayaking and hardly ever get the chance to go fishing. I did enjoy it though. Jim

36 anglers and only 3 flounders weighed in. What a disappointing result. Another fish that was plentiful is almost extinct. ðŠ

I'm Still coughing up my " B******s" so staying warm. I'm on medicine bottle no.2 at the mo so I expect I'll be feeling much better by the time I open no.3 ðð Tight lines all.

Thanks Mick. 18mm water resistant MDF. About 2Â― hours each just for the carving. Then there's cutting out, Machining the back for the keyhole hangers, Engraving, Painting, Sanding & Finishing. Phew! Glad I got them done in time. Got to wrap them today. ð ð No time for going fishing.

Aztec Calendars. I asked my Grand Children & other family members which was their favourite. DC, Marvel, or Star Wars. I just finished these Aztec Calendars in time for Christmas. I hope they like them.
