Haha don't worry Martin I did keep a close eye on him as we work in the same building. While I'd like to blame him for any abuse dished out over the years but unfortunately he's never posted on my account so I hold my hands up!

Realistically the only time that we can do at the moment with reasonable tides is that weekend of the 24th/25th/26th which unfortunately clashes with the Dinner Dance. We're desperate to get out there though so are going to go for it on that Friday and will hopefully see some of you out there on the Sunday...

Oh crikey sorry I misread the posts. Really keen to get over there but not sure I can take 3 days off as am away (yes Martin for a wedding!) the week after. Will check the calendar!!

Haha thanks Jim. We headed down on Saturday to check her out ourselves and they've certainly been polishing hard - makes a difference from the 'covered in worm / blood / guts' look! I must say Wessex Marine have been first class throughout the process from our first visit to the ordering to delivery and then continued with all the support since. Still can't really believe she's ours! 42.6 knots they told be they got out of it on the way to the show - admittedly with no gear on board / 1 person / 4 knots of tide but still!

Bought a few years ago and used a maximum of 5 times, has a drainage tap on one side and keeps ice frozen for up to 7 days. Only reason for sale is that the new boat has an ice box already. Definitely more disease than excuse. I've only recently got rid of it! Only invited to one this year - probably because I sit at them in the sunshine looking like a miserable git because I'm meant to be fishing!
