  1. Mark ,spring high and about 4 extra feet of flood water.static mooring mooring ropes pulled her over so the water came in the scuppers and fish wells and into engine bay which only has a 100 mm lip and the 4 month old bilge pump stopped working
  2. Plastic tank
  3. Now cabin stripped access holes will be made in the floor.the fuel tank is massive (150gal) and the water is trapped in front of that

  5. As it's all quiet on the fishy front thought I'd do an update on Wishin Too Engine etc is out Boat is now with the trimmers in Hythe, note the masking tape on the hull that's how much she lists still due to trapped water under the forward deck

  22. Thanks for the help today PJ and storing the boats interior, sorry the weather isn't up to you're usual fishy birthday Nigel
  23. Mike it's on a static pontoon.......cause unknown but possibly mooring ropes got caught up?boat fouled up pontoon then flood water gushed in through scuppers and into engine well Very unlikely it's holed as most of hull is 2 inches thick
  24. Graham,as the engine was totally emerged all intakes would have been full of water so unless the injectors were taken out to release the water from the combustion chambers........then the engine can hydraulic and bend con rods and possibly the crank. Same thing happens to cars when driven through floods, that's why some 4x4 off roads have their air intake snorkel up the windscreen pillar so water doesn't get into the engine cylinders
