A big thank you to Neal with Court Jester for getting us back across the bay from Swanage after the leg on Wishin Too decided to lose drive.Also thanks to Charlie,Tony ,Trev and big Colin who all offered.Due to tides it wasn't possible to get into Christchuch until 5 when a mate with a Starfisher from the berth next to me made the special journey to tow me in the last couple of miles...Thanks Alan....and Neal Here's hoping its a economical repair Nige

Off of St Catherine's there's a 200 ft hole only really fish able on neaps either drifting or at anchor.they are big if you look at my first shark report you'll see Mal wrestling a good one about 40lb To land them I lift them in or through the transome door , throw a bucket of water on the deck first to cool deck otherwise they go ballistic as too them a hot deck must feel like a frying pan

Thanks to Rob,Charlie,and Brian for organising and to all the sponsors It was a mad panic for us out of Christchurch as we came in the run at 4.30 gave the fish to Laura on mudeford quay and then through the harbour banged the leg on the bottom while all the crew cleaned up,tied up on mooring loaded cars and then drove hurriedly and got to cobbs at 5.30.....as Mal said it was like the fishing race. Well done to my crew as all of us got a prize with Mike(idontlikecomps) got 3rd. Next year due to tides I am going to beg a place on a Poole boat as I'm lucky I didn't get a speeding ticket also known as a Maverick 🙊😱 Nigel
