Poked my head out the Haven this morning and the swell was too high for a day’s fishing. The large boats were turning back in too. Sunday’s sea state is supposed to be moderate. Just a warning lads for tomorrow!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Apparently the bait draggers have been struggling to get rag worms in Holes Bay. Either they have been over dredged or the amount of rain water in flow into the harbour has made the rag worms go deeper into the mud. Either way, if there is little food there will be equally fewer fish present! This may just be a bad year due to the amount of rain we have had. If one thing is for sure, Mother Nature will sort it out 👍

Hi Neil Good to hear you are both well and that Leo is still into his fishing. My son Brad (lucky Devil) was been handed down two Electric Guitars and Amps by his Nan. He is now looking to take up lessons too. Look forward to catching up soon. Greg
