  1. Just a warning, The last couple of times I have been out on the Secret Ray mark, it has been on the yachting racing course and I had to shout at a yacht heading straight for me. I then saw two heads pop up and suddenly change tack!!! Worrying to know that no one was keeping watch at the helm !!! Note to self. I must get a loud horn. Greg
  2. Thanks Mal A Great report and valuable one too Mal. Sad to see it did not totally not go to plan. We almost went out Yesterday ourselves but decided not to due to the uncertainty of the wind and sea state. Being spring time I have so much timber treating to do in the garden so unfortunately due to the long spell of dry weather forecast that one has taken precedent. I hate it with a passion !!! Thanks again for the report which has confirmed that we had made the right decision albeit a reluctant one !!!! ☚ī¸ Greg
  3. Well done Steve. Good result 👍
  4. Nice fishing Neil. I do the same as Colin. My net comes off of the pole so it is easy to hook my scales onto the net. My net weighs exactly 1lb. So every fish weighed I subtract the weight of the fish by a lb. Simples 👍

Looks like Chris W's Winning prizes shed 😁

    M27 boat park

Is it me or should the van be giving way to the boat anyway. Best person to ask is Lofty, as he has just done his RYA Level 2 !!!!!!!!
  9. Happy Birthday Chris, Just the one Doom bar tonight then !!!!!!! đŸ¤Ģ Best Wishes Greg
  10. Gazebo - SOLD
  11. Rob I was on my boat on Monday afternoon on B Pontoon when the weather was rough. Whilst I was there Cobbs staff were going along checking the boat lines. Also, if your friend phones Cobbs, they will check on his boat if asked to, It's all part of the service down there. Greg
  12. We have purchased a Garden Pod which will hopefully be delivered this week. The Gazebo that stood in the place where it is going is now not required. We bought this Gazebo from Haskins Ferndown last year and they still have it on display in the shop. It is on sale for new in the shop for ÂŖ449.00. I am selling ours for ÂŖ100.00. Bargain. It has been recently been dismantled and is ready to go. I have kept the build instructions the overall size is 3.00M x 3.00M about 2.200M high. The fabric roof is manually retractable which means you can either be in the shade or in the sun. PM me if interested or contact me on my mobile 07748 630343 Also, for sale is the all weather brown rattan garden furniture set consisting of a corner sofa, foot stool/extra seat and coffee table (which is sun damaged under the glass but usable) The set comes complete with cream cushions with washable covers. It is a very comfortable set. ÂŖ150.00
  13. Farming doesn't seem that bad after all then Martin 😁 Greg
  14. Happy Birthday Tony Hope you have a great day.
  15. Plaice and Flounder off of the menu then !!!
  16. Let's hope this is not too major. One blessing is that the weather is stable for the clean up operation for both today and tomorrow. If this would of happened later in the week then a clean up would have been very difficult. Let's hope Witch Farm really does have this under control which I suspect they will do. 🤞
  17. Bugger, I had Swordfish at the Italian Restaurant last night. Well, at least I thought I did đŸ¤Ģ
  18. So sad. Apparently heard on the news this morning that Trophy hunters have taken the shark away prior to the fish being able to be inspected to find out the cause of death!!
  19. I know this is not boat related but I have quite a bit of petrol in the garage that I put in the mower. As this is now one year old (approx) can I refresh it by adding a fuel stabiliser such as Mountfeild Fuel Stabiliser to use in the mower ? If not any suggestions? Cheers Greg

    Glad I wasn't the only one !!!!!
  22. Hi Charlie No problem. Nikon Prostaff P3 10x42 7.0 Waterproof ( Not Saltwater Proof) Actually, just put them next to my RSPB ones and they are the same height but thinner. I guess that makes them compact!!!!! Miss sold again !!!! I will still bring them along though Greg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Likewise Charlie, Going on holiday this year and our hotel is on the edge of a rainforest. So I had a a pair of compact Bins (Nikon) bought from Jessops Circa ÂŖ189.00 for my Birthday a couple of weeks ago. Although they say they are compact I would a say they are about three quarter size of a normal pair so not massively compact. However, the Zoom is amazing and far out perform my full size RSPB pair. Happy to bring them along to the Meeting tomorrow night if you want to have a look? Let me know? Greg
  24. I've been rumbled !!!!! Thanks Neil 😁
  25. Thank you guys for all your kind wishes. Had a lazy day off and went out to dinner tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
