The last time I was in the office a little while ago, I could not help overhearing the Manager speaking with someone with regards to a high demand for births. I have been at Cobbs since 1992 and have suffered many frustrations since, but experience has taught me that Cobbs is one of the cheapest Marinas around. You simply get what you pay for !!! I would also like to say that Cobbs has improved significantly over the years and as Charlie says it is a tough one these days running a Marina with various liabilities being thrown at you. I would not be surprised if their Insurance company have requested this due to the recent incident and possible claim. The parking has always been a bind but I personally am happy to stay at Cobbs.

I was told it was a boat at Shamrock Quay not even at Cobbs. I agree Martin they are getting greedy. Oh for another large Marina in Poole !!

How did he get that footage on his own? The picture is so perfect and the lighting just right. There’s something Fishy about this picture 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’m confused (which is not difficult!!) Are Save Our Sea Bass wanting to decrease Bass stocks by increasing the bag limit from 1 to 3 Bass per angler a day for 9 months of the year ?
-
So that may be part of reason why the Bass are staying around over the Winter season ( feasting on sprats) as well as the temperature of the water. I have put on my Christmas list Sprat imitations as well. Hopefully That should provide some sport in the Harbour for the winter months if the weather is inclement outside. Thanks for the info Rob.

It's a shame Rob that Bass are so rare now!! Well done to you both. I have got the Lure bug now, and I have sent a letter to Santa for a nice Bass rod and a selection of lures for Xmas. I do hope he realises that I've been a good boy!! The thing I like about Lure fishing is that there is no mess of bait on board, and the anticipation of the real screaming off with a decent fish on the end of your line. Once you know where the hot spots are for Bass and you have done your homework on your selection of Lure, then you are certain to catch a decent fish.

Thanks Martin
