  1. As you didn't want to celebrate on the day, have a very happy un-birthday (they exist ask Tigger and Pooh). I may get you a jet-ski in the January sales so as you can join your mates by the chain ferry. Cheers Ian
  2. You're correct Mal and I along with all front row, past and present, was shocked that a hooker could stoop so low. If only we could go back to the days of rucking, although this was still a stamp. Please let's beat the Aussies.
  3. I was really peed off when I was told I had to go away on a couple of audits and would have to miss the club cod (avoiding) competition. It is a shame that so many people blanked and got piss wet through, but at least you got out there. It could be worse, you could be an England rugby selector, no matter what they do it goes wrong. It's all the fault of the funny small men numbered 10 - 15.
  4. Well in mate, I like and applaud your humility, you have a great future. All the best Ian
  5. Ian, no bass but a bloody good laugh and plenty of sunshine.
  6. Easy to complete, lets hope it's not easy to ignore.

This is a photo of the South American "hide and seek" championship.
  8. Neal, I mean't the June species hunt not July, (the one where you lost the rod). Sorry Ian
  9. Hello Neal, I would have liked to but I will be in Norway for a weeks fishing, bummer. I can't tell you how to fish but can I recommend a size 16 fly for the smaller species as it worked during the July competition. Secondly, secure your rods to the boat as I heard of some poor bu**er that lost £300 worth of rod n reel in the same competition! Cheers Ian
  10. We have no chance with either of them so lets go fishing.
  11. Your talking shit again.
  12. Hello Stuie, if they don't fit PJ I would be interested. Cheers Ian
  13. I was lucky enough to crew for Neal on Court Jester and we had a fantastic day with scores of Bream up to 2lb15oz and averaging 2ib 4oz. I had a real education in the fine art of Bream bites as well as how to communicate with Jet Ski riders. Good to meet quite a few club members on the water and back at the weigh in, club fees were worth it for Sunday alone. Cheers Ian
  14. Gentlemen thank you for the replies. To answer a few points raised; Brian, my boat is called Pug and I will monitor 6 when out. Neal, I would like to join on the 18th if your back on the water, and i will send you a PM later. Maverick, the advice on the Dejon 14 limitations is welcome and enforces my reasons for staying inside the harbour and respecting all sea states. I only take risks with other peoples money. Tony, I had Pug overhauled by a friend Tony Cordial of Select Marine and she is fine at the moment but will say hello to Mike and Carol for future advice. Thank you all so far and if anyone would like to start a collection, my 2 girls want a pink and a purple rod now that they are members. If this doesn't happen I will view it as discrimination being a Cornishman. Bye for now, Ian
  15. Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, I joined the club last night and was bullied by the committee into handing over an extra £5 for family membership, I hope this intimidation will ease off. We have a Dejon 14 with a Mariner 20 HP that is used within the harbour and 2 adults can fish comfortably from Pug, I don't see her going out the harbour unless there is a very calm day. I have been fishing for many years but took a 20 year gap due to PMT, however, a change of spouse and end of rugby days allowed me to start again about 9 years ago. I am keen to keep learning the art of sea fishing and would like to crew on boats when members have space. Regards Ian
