Martin, If there is a weather window for Cod on Sunday, I'll be up for it on Fugazi. If you could just point me in the right direction I would appreciate it as I've never caught one from a boat in Poole Bay! Gordon

Has anyone else had problems trying to get an ad uploaded to this website? Iv'e been trying now for 3 day with hours of wasted time and frustration. I have 5 JPEG photos that are all around 70Kb each so it should'nt be a problem but I can't get them to load. Even when I try to upload the ad without pictures it still fails! I'll try ringing their help line tomorrow,. Gordon H

My wife thinks I'm immature, in fact, she want me to sit down with her and discuss the problem. Yeah right, like I'm goin to do that in the middle of the conker season! Gordon H

Thanks for the well wishes guys, were looking for somewhere no further North than Cardigan and no further East than Lampeter. Need to sell here first, but already seen some nice properties really close to sea, would love somewhere around the Dinas Head area. I took the attached pictures there on August Bank Holiday this year from Fugazi 2. Gordon

My conditions in agreeing to this move are that we re-locate no more that 10 miles from the coast as we already have another smaller boat. We're still going to keep a rental flat here in Bournemouth and I intend staying a club member to keep in touch and continue to try for that year long species trophy. Gordon

My wife has decided that when I retire at Chrismas we're moving to West Wales to buy a small holding/equestrian property. As this will not give me much time for fishing, Fugazi is now for sale if anyone is interested. Tried to upload ad to Boats and Outboards earlier tonight but had a problem with connection, so will try again tomorrow. Asking price is

Brian, I hate to tell you this, but I know from personal experience all I can say is be prepared, they will probably be back to have another go. Regards, Gordon

Fugazi will be fishing this one but don't know who will be crewing yet? If my regular crew's not available I'll be looking for volunteers. Gordon

Also hoping to get out Saturday as I have a new fishfinder to try out. Gordon

Mike, The Pirate hull profile and weight is similar to my Raider 18 which I've owned for 6 years. I soon realized after purchasing it that my Vectra was not a suitable tow vehicle and had to change to a 4 x 4 (unless you don't mind the smell of burning clutch and tyres). I also upgraded from a 75hp to 115hp last year which tranformed it from a good boat to a great one. The Pirate 18 looks really good, so if you can, go for the 115 on it and be prepared to change your car. Gordon

Brian, I'll be able to join you soon, just 89 days to go, not that I'm counting. Gordon

I'm planning a trip out from Christchurch this Saturday anyone else venturing out? Probably be trying very close inshore to the east for Bass as I'm now armed with a new secret weapon in the lure department. In the very likely probablility that this fails, could someone in the know please take pity on me and PM's me the location of the banks for plan B? Not caught a single Bass this year so I'm getting a bit desperate. Of course, should secret weapon turn out to be a Bass magnet, I'm prepared to share the secret with anyone that helps me out! Gordon

As my wife is in Florida this week staying almost next door to a Pro Bass store, could anyone recommend a suitable Bass spinning rod that she could bring me back? I see they have a few offers on at the moment. Gordon H

Apologies, would love to fish it, but I'm away on holiday. Gordon H

Chris and I went to try a different location today where I had seen Bass on drift dives. They were there alright but very wary, our floats kept going under and staying down but when we tried to hook up nothing. Had one really nice Bass follow the bait right up to the boat but still no take. The water was very clear and I wonder if that was the problem? Probably should have stayed at Christchurch as it sounds like everyone faired better there, still a great day to be out on the water. Gordon H

Looks like Team Fugazi has a good chance of winning this one, no competition literally:- 1.) Gordon Holt & Chris Gould - Fugazi

Mark, Sounds like the same problem I had, but Brian came round with his magic box of tricks and sorted it out in no time. Just needed the RF aerial connection re-made with new connector, the down side is I can now hear Ron's chat as well. Gordon H

Thanks guys, Despite being at work yesterday, I managed to finish off the day with a dive on the Carantan last night. Not much fish life about, except a few wrasse, pout and one very large conger. Gordon H

Still need crew for Friday Gordon H

I'll confirm tomorrow (subject to getting time off from work) and if OK will be looking for crew on Fugazi, 2 spaces available. Gordon H

Paul uses the same facitlity as my dive club to store his boat. Its council owned and you have to launch and retrieve yourself, however, the compound is reasonably secure, but not the best and the price reflects this. There may still be a waiting list, we were on it several years before being allocated a place for our club RIB. Gordon H

Happy Birthday Charlie, have a great day. Gordon H

OK so I think I understand what I thought you said, but I'm not sure that what I think you said is what you really meant. Some of you are going somewhere tomorrow that might involve fishing, or not? Can't wait to find out what happened Gordon H
