  1. I recal a similar case with regard to a car park ( will try to find the article ). This one is nearer to home for your Rich and amazing none the less Paint lines around car
  2. or is it another case of. "A unnamed source said ...." Plenty of these stories in circulation, such as the covert speed traps measuring average speed in the M27....... There again I could drive through the tunnel and be made to eat my words.

    Motor Insurance

May I recommend Confused.com - Car Insurance Searching They do all the searching on the different sites for you automatically and results return in minutes. Superb.
  4. I have to admit that anchoring Lepe Buoy area plenty of warp is needed as the ground is compact shingle and a good angle is needed to get the anchor to bite in. Even then on the weekend we started slipping anchor after a couple of hours before coming to a halt near Gastronaught. Thinking again, I think I will keep all that excess warp for now
  5. Or from Amazon here but you'll need to get a decent PC first Adam

    Girls

Friend at work sent this !! When I was 14, I hoped that one day I would have a girlfriend. When I was 16 I got a girlfriend, but there was no passion, so I decided I needed a passionate girl with a zest for life. In college I dated a passionate girl, but she was too emotional. Everything was an emergency; she was a drama queen, cried all the time and threatened suicide. So I decided I needed a girl with stability. When I was 20 I found a very stable girl but she was boring. She was totally predictable and never got excited about anything. Life became so dull that I decided that I needed a girl with some excitement. When I was 23 I found an exciting girl, but I couldn't keep up with her. She rushed from one thing to another, never settling on anything. She did mad impetuous things and made me miserable as often as happy. She was great fun initially and very energetic, but directionless. So I decided to find a girl with some real ambition. When I turned 26, I found a smart ambitious girl with her feet planted firmly on the ground and married her. She was so ambitious that she divorced me and took everything I owned. I am now older and wiser, and am looking for a girl with big tits.
  7. I would get a sample first. I bought my 10mm nylon from Barry Edwards - superb stuff, soft and easily stowed. I bough my 12mm stuff from Barry Edwards as well and nowhere near as soft ( same that Martin has ). Found Barry good to deal with and can recommend him, but get a sample first. BTW : I have a whole coil on Neo and would be happy to chop it in half if anyone wants to buy half a coil.
  8. Coddy, Worked out how to do it. I have created one from the logo for now. Better than none I think. Anyone wants to create a .ico file with a better logo in it then I will replace the one I have,
  9. Nice to get out too. Got to Lymington and met up with Alun J, Terry, Simon, Mike F and his crew. Speedy launch from Lymington and steamed to the mark along with Gastronaught ( apart from nearly ending over the other side of the Solent as I wasn't concentrating too much on where the mark was ! ). Nice and flat to start - rougher later but then calmed down again. Evidently I anchored the mark accurately based upon Gordon "precision anchoring" Moore's applause as they arrived Fugazi once again though managed to be anchored alongside Neo and then haul up a couple of cod(LING) whilst all we could do was watch in awe Myself and PJ had one bite each which we both managed to fail to connect and I caught the solitary fish on the boat ( a doggie ). Decided to return around 2 PM to get back in time to watch Reading and hopefully wind up Mark B ( not today though ). Was good to get out though and good company as usual with PJ Definitely going for an annual pass for the lymo slipway now that the man collecting the launching fees is somewhat more efficient.
  10. For Sale Perkins 6354 Range 4 Turbo 185 HP Engine, complete with Borg Warner 2:1 gearbox, Flexible engine mounts, Silent bloc, flexible gearbox coupling, 24v electrics with twin 70amp Motorola alternators, Loose instruments, Exhaust elbow, Runs well, can be seen running on engine stillage. Would suit person looking for cost effective project , as engine has most parts for new installation.
  11. Have to agree with Martin, wrt the last lot of nylon I got. It is not as soft as the 10mm stuff I had previously.
  12. Nearer to home from a few years ago.
  13. Awesome. I remember them being quite big from our first trip out there. Wouldn't fancy being on there fishing at the time though !
  14. lol Terry, I was thinking the same thing as well. To date it is :- Gastronaught :- Alun J and Terry Neo :- Paul D and Paul J Fugazi :- Gordon and Gordon Cimarra + crew(Mike F ?) Neo will be there around 8 AM
  15. I would guess you would be too old Paul
  16. OK - So far we have :- Alun J - Gastronaught Terry Gordon - Enticer Gordon H ( with Fugazi if needed ) Me ( with Neo if needed ) PJ Either I will crew on Enticer or Gordon H can crew on Enticer. PJ can crew on Neo if Gordon H crews on Enticer or PJ can crew on Fugazi if I crew on Enticer and Fugazi goes. Hows that sound so far ? Will have to see if Nipper is up for a trip out as well.
  17. Sounds good to me. Just looking at the window on Sunday - still there on windguru but I presume there will still be a bit of a swell out there.
  18. I can do Saturday or Sunday. Let's see what the weather is doing but your wreck will probably be "doable", although I fancy getting to Lepe for a few cod
  19. I am up for going on Sunday as well ( provided the weather plays ball ). Either take Neo if say Gordon and PJ want to crew or happy to crew. Let me know.

    Bfm

I'll second the WH Smith suggestion - one in Christchurch always has it in stock when it is issued.
  21. Well it's on their website here :- Fireline Crystal
  22. Gordon, I use whiplash all the time. Superb stuff. One thing which should be born in mind when using braid, particularily the heavier BS stuff is that if you are stuck in the bottom, or in fact any other time, DO NOT wrap any around your finger / hand etc. It is quite capable of giving you a nasty injury, if not severing a finger or whatever. Might seem obvious but worth stating I think.
  23. Last competition seemed to be a success, so I am looking to compile a new competition as I have some
