P m me if you don't want to shout. Thanks. Tight lines all. Colin.
  2. Fishing near two trawlers mal doesn't sound like it's likely to be a prolific dayπŸ™ it needs at least an eight mile ban on them around the bay in my opinion. Colin.

Don't know how often Tom will check the club site, so if he doesn't pick up on this promptly it may be worth trying Secretary Brian he is brilliant, about some contact details, don't know how that works with this privacy thing , but sure if Brian can help he will . πŸ‘Good luck. Farmer colin.
  6. Jerry, the upcoming date for bream comp needs updating at top of site now. πŸ˜‚ excuse the pun, but keep it calm, then everyone else can get excited πŸ˜„. Colin.

  14. Brilliant day out Jerry, it doesn't get much better than that, apart from the fog desending , that was a bit disopointing for you, it proves making the effort can get the resaults, a long treck but well worth the effort.splendid fish well done. Colin.

  19. And as they say Martin. ONE volunteer is worth a thousand recruits πŸ˜‚
  20. Good luck boys, Charlie, hope you have warned Jim not to come over dressed in his Sunday suit tomorrow because he is very likely to catch FISH on your boat πŸ˜‚ and so keep your camera to hand ready for any rare photo opportunity πŸ˜‹. Sure you'll have fun but it looks like you will have to dodge southerly's as best you can ! Safe treck and tight lines. Colin.
  21. Hi Jim , it's about 50\50 at the moment weather I come to meeting , it will depend on how the wife is feeling , I won't be planning a fishing trip, Jan has hospital appointments on the wednesday. Can update, if you don't mind being custodian for a while, many thanks Colin
  22. Yes got it Jim thanks, when you print out your copy print a size your happy with jim, I understand what your saying about the grainy bit so you may have to compromise on size so your happy with quality πŸ‘. Colin
  23. Jim, Terry is right, I meant to print out a glossy A 4 on normal photographic paper, you know the old fashion way! Then frame that. Right, now on the basis a man that never made a mistake never made anything πŸ˜„ and when I was at school a triangle had three sidesπŸ˜„ now let's have a go.the second way, A friend of my family has a printing business , we are developing the idea of printing wedding photos etc on to figured wood, so you would need to what's-up the photo to my phone Jim πŸ˜„(07730249907) and leave the rest to me. And thirdly, if your carving technique does work you might amaze your self, have a go, nothing ventured nothing gained, that could turn out good as well, life's a learning curve Jim. πŸ˜„πŸ‘
  24. Jim, that is a wonderful photograph, really good quick thinking on jackie"s part to snap that. The character and clarity of the building in the foreground , the other buildings and mature trees in the main body, and the proportion of the sky are excellent, and yet the main subject adorns the centre stage most elequently . A bit of a wonderful memory maker moment for you and Jackie to see and take a photo of this rare visitor to the south coast of england, fantastic ! Jim, I think you should consider printing out an A four size photo for you and Jackie to hang in your home , I will be more than happy to find you some live edge wood I have cut on my sawmill that I think will frame it to perfection and add to the character of the Sean . That's Jackie s birthday or Christmas pressie sorted which ever comes first πŸ˜„. And if you could consider it I would love a copy , more than happy to donate to you or our club charity, may be some others thinking similarπŸ‘. Well done Jackie. Colin. Farmer and countryman.
  25. Hi Martin ,All above good advice, I have three Lowrance machines. A 9 t I 2. Now obsolete A f s 9 I am very pleased with and have just obtained the new eagle 9 live sight, suggest you check out videos , there is plenty on YouTube to study up, to get the best out of them you need to consider some good cards in them like platinum plus or equivalent, they come in around or just over Β£200 but if your buying new, lookout for deals, you can sometimes get them free in the deal so don't forget to ask. Also may be worth having a word with Ashley at seatronix, he is very knowledgeable and helpful, don't know where your boat is but he is near Poole and gets to mariners there regular. Hope this helps. Good luck, Colin.
