So for those of you that have allowed your club membership to lapse your forum status has now reverted to that of Member. This means you are just registered on here as forum members so can no longer access the club area without re-joining. Hi Greg Firstly welcome to our clubs forum, you won't find a more friendly and welcoming rabble Have you just joined the forum or have you joined the club proper as a family member? If you have paid for family membership all you need do is copy and paste the list of junior members above into a new post and add your lad to the list. Confirmation of your joining the club can take a few days to come through to the forum but as soon as it does you will be given access to the club areas where you will be able to glean more info help and tips + join in other competitions and social events.

I really wanted to go but what with the weather not leaving a large enough window to make it worth it for me and the boat not being quite ready I decided to give it a miss. The meet did and still is going ahead though Martin PS Adam got your messages and will text/message you when I have the info

Blooming hell Adam was it that long ago Seriously all club members should be proficient at both deploying and recovering anchors. It's one of the most dangerous manoeuvres we have to do on a regular basis so if you don't know the correct way take up one of the above offers. Also I'm sure Dave our safety rep would arrange for tuition on other club boats, mine is available or maybe arrange for a member to go on your own boat, the help is there you just need to ask Martin
