  2. It's not funny Charlie, you'll be fishing and I'll be in a class room :-(
  3. Well Dean spent last weekend polishing and scrubbing Awol so she is beginning to look pretty good now. Need to do one or two more jobs to get her A1 but well on the way. Looking forward to doing a shake down cruise/fish just to ensure everything works prior to the club trip over the channel. Doing a radar course this coming Sunday to try and learn how to use the on board kit properly. Following weeks it will be out and about playing on the boat....at last More updates later
  4. I don't believe it, would of loved to have buddies up but got a radar course on Sunday :-(

  7. Have a look at this thread http://www.pbsbac.co.uk/ipb/topic/14134-follow-up-to-topic-on-thursdays-meeting/?hl=security Martin
  8. It's more like a rewards card, you receive 2% of purchase price in vouchers but only in £5 amounts ie need to spend £250 before claiming your first voucher. Hum just checked and the link to discount card that was on the old forum. It must have been lost during the transition from our old forum to the new one. I will try and find a copy and post up later Martin
  9. Would agree with Rob Icom are a good make in fact I have had Icom on my last three boats . The model he highlights is what I currently have on AWOL and it works fine with all the bits needed on it. The other factor to bear in mind is their after service which is apparently brilliant but I can't comment on that as have never had to use it Martin
  10. I would agree with Brian except there is someone still there who was originally there namely Robert Braithwaite Sent from my Samsung S2
  11. Rob I have progressed from deleting whole threads to only partial deletion, from what I hear you have some way to go to catch me up
  12. Have a look at this article, gives a bit of background http://www.motorboatsmonthly.co.uk/archive/general/501670/sunseeker-through-the-agesDiscussion%20of%20the%20Sunseeker%20Boats%20in%20the%20YBW%20forums Martin
  13. Brian yes they did start in Southbourne as car salesmen then moved into boats so your scenario could be correct Martin
  14. Greenslades can be hit and miss whether they sell you some ice or not. Never had a problem with south coast always happy to supply but do phone first and mention the club Martin
  15. I added a photo to your post but stuffed up a little and may of deleted some words many many apologies if I have About the boat I would agree the topsides look pretty similar to Brian's pics however I can't remember sqeekers ever producing a shiplap hull? I might be wrong... usually am Martin

  21. Gee thanks Adam your so thoughtful
  22. As my above post will be watching the weather for Sunday 24th Martin
  23. Peter I also suffer especially at the beginning of a season but it does get better as the year goes on. I use Stugeron and have found they work for me, I have never been ill when taking these. I take a couple the night before going to get them in my system then one in the morning when I get up and that's it. I never have to top them up during they day and have never been ill when took as described. Some say these make you drowsy but for me theyr'e finne Others will have their preferred remedies it just comes down to trial and error and of course familiarity but whatever happens don't give up trying Hope that helps Martin
  24. Trevor I have Navionics gold on one plotter and platinum on another. After the initial new toy stage you would rarely use the extra bells and whistles that platinum offer. If I were specking again I would be happy with the gold charts and save a few quid. Martin
  25. Good luck Adam hope you achieve as good a result as I did
