Blooming hell Adam was it that long ago
Seriously all club members should be proficient at both deploying and recovering anchors. It's one of the most dangerous manoeuvres we have to do on a regular basis so if you don't know the correct way take up one of the above offers.
Also I'm sure Dave our safety rep would arrange for tuition on other club boats, mine is available or maybe arrange for a member to go on your own boat, the help is there you just need to ask

So only 2 weeks now to this lads week/week end away and I am really looking forward to it. I intend to hopefully go to Weymouth on the Friday evening for an early start out fishing Saturday (headache permitting ) I will return either Monday or Tuesday pm depending on weather and work
I will stay in the cove at Weymouth as it makes the evening socialising much easier ie get out boat into pub then fall back into boat. Some other WSF boats are berthing at Portland marina and will require taxi rides into town to socialise with the main group, where do you intend to go? also anyone else going to add their name to the list?

You must be doing an awful lot of liking
I have doubled the number allowed to club members per day but be aware the recipient can see who has liked/disliked

For me this video epitomises what's good about our sport and our club. It's got the build up the exhilaration, the sport of catching fish camaraderie and the safety afforded by belonging to a brilliant club full of willing helpful guys.
This could be an advert for our club
