  1. Graham I have a through hull set up and it works almost perfectly even up to 20+ knots. Picture sometimes lost at speed but very rarely. Your welcome to jump on and have a look anytime. Just lift my engine hatch and you will see the sounder in front of the engine bay left hand side. If you need any help just shout Martin
  2. Bump Still got this wheel, will it not fit anyones trailer? ? It's free or down the dump next week Martin
  3. Chris is a top bloke who goes the extra mile. Will also give top advice if you ask the right questions, nice guy Martin
  4. So let me get this straight just for Dean We are drinking in the moorings on Thurs, Drinking in the Maris on Fri and Drinking in the Harbour Lights on Sat Sounds messy Martin
  5. Just noticed the new Sam's Baits advert on our site. Checked out their site (just click the ad) and had a look. We are the only club on their links page and our very own Paul D is on the gallery page with his bass Where will we be found next Martin

  9. Even better Terry after such a long cold winter (apart from you and your Cuba trip) I am looking forward to however many nights we have Martin
  10. Both it's so obvious you havent been before Graham It's all good honest fun though Martin
  11. and rolling back down the hill half cut and lost for those that kip on the boat Whatever Dean and I will eat and drink anywhere.............well he will at least So Friday Maris Hall Saturday Harbour lights Sorted Martin
  12. Graham The other list is indeed a hotel/restaurant booking. Not sure you need to take a dingy and outboard as several of the larger boats will have that facility available but if you would rather the independence thats ok. Mainbrace do have a water taxi that is not overly expensive. I believe it used to be around
  13. Dave I don't know the hp of the outboards as Wendy forgot to show them to me today, I will try and find out for you I will also pick up the chop saw for you to look at. Martin
  14. Alun I will collect the gear from Wendy and you can come over have a look and decide on what if anything to offer From memory the chain is not overly large 6-8mm not sure of length but will find out. Martin
  15. Adam just googled it at Machine Mart, they are around
  16. Wendy Horne is about to move and has several items to dispose of. Wendy hasn't put prices on any of the gear but she isn't looking for a fortune and does need it gone within the next week or so. If not sold hear we will get a dealer in to take it all on. So offers please. I can arrange for viewing either at Wendy's or my place just let me know what you might be interested in
  17. We are also aiming to take a small inflatable with outboard that others are welcome to use if needed. Martin
  18. Graham with good forecast you will have no problem. If the forecast is less than favourable then I guess none of us will be going. For myself I would prefer less than a full on F4 but would also take into consideration the direction and outlook for the period of the trip. A F5 for me would be a no no. No choice if it catches you unawares for the return leg but planning is everything. We still have 1 space available on Awol although we will keep this space as a last resort so it can't be banked on. Awol is a fairly large boat but is slightly restricted for cockpit space. She will fish 3 on the drift at a push but I am a greedy boy and like loads of room Other boats look to have space but maybe the skippers haven't yet updated their crew list? It would be appreciated I'm sure if those that are taking their boats would please update crew status to help those like Graham who may be looking for a ride. Martin
  19. Or push the ctrl button and use your mouse wheel to zoom in or out Only problem with zooming out is those of us with bad eyes can then see the pictures ok but then can't read the postings Martin
  20. Stuart It's not worth playing with what we have as hopefully in the not to distant future we will have completely new forum software. We just have to decide on what program and then when Paul has spare time. Martin
  21. Harbour lights booking form Terry B Martin B Dean B
  22. It's because people post pictures that are to large for the forum making it necessary for users to pan right to see the whole screen. If it becomes a major issue ie disrupts our home page I will delete the offending pictures. Martin
  23. Poole is desperately short of pontoon berths and facilities, thats why it's so bloomin expensive so, I for one think it's a brilliant idea certainly better than the new twin fails bridge idea. Martin BTW I wonder if there is anyway a local angling club or association could become involved in this development?
  24. Red rag seen M B I can always loose a few lbs, but you try turning time back............ Shall we stop this before I have a coronary with mirth.......... besides we're off topic............. Fish catching & then quality me thinks Agread on all counts Martin
