  11. Dean and I will be fishing on "Awol" See you you guys out there. Mike for safety reasons club rules state 2 persons on a boat to be elligible to enter competitions Martin
  12. I have 220 metres of 14mm 3 strand nylon in 2 lengths, 180metres and 40metres for sale
  13. Rob If you want the best go for multiplait or octiplait. I bought this kind of warp for the first time this year and definately wont be going back to 3 strand nylon. Some useful links for knots and splicing http://www.tollesburysc.co.uk/Knots/Knots_gallery.htm#knots http://home.cogeco.ca/~mquill/chain_rope_splice.html Martin
  14. Rob 10mm would be more than adequate for you boat but 12mm will be more comfortable on the hands. Another factor to bear in mind is that the thicker the warp the more space it takes up. A properly spliced join in your existing rope should be no problem for a buoyed retrieval assuming its long enough for your needs. Martin
  15. All subsequent posts relating to club records have been moved to a new thread in the members chit chat section please respond to Sinbads posting there Martin
