  8. Pictures that's what we like, also maybe an area for club news ie competitions press releases and anything else that could be used to promote the club. If others have access and the know how to update it can both give our members information and promote us to our visitors oh and of course do our rating good with mr google, not that we do badly there anyhow.
  9. I have been saying for years that Guernsey would make a good base, the harbour is more sheltered yhan Braye and the town nearer to hand (no bloody hill) only problem is it's 29 miles further on from Braye but the distance from the schole is about the same distance as from Braye, you'll love it. Uuum I still can't go
  10. Tony do you have a rubber so I can doctor the calendar
  11. Reluctantly agree we will not be going to Alderney this time. Unfortunately I cannot make the reserve date either. Also for me June is difficult if not impossible, 6th June cruising weekend, 13th-17th June will be at the wsf meet, 21st is the club BBQ, the 28th is the club open. How boring life would be without fishing and boating
  12. Down to Rockley at 8am for a lazy start with Phil Trevett. Tide was a little lower than expected but still just managed to scrape through Rockley channel and out into the harbour proper. Our plan was to go to Dancing ledge for a few Bream. Well getting there went to plan but it was very quite on the fishing front. I managed 5 or 6 Bream before Phil started to interrogate me on my rig and tactics. My chosen rig for the day was a one up one down with all fish so far coming on the up hook. Phil pinched a few bits from my box and on his next drop he got a Bream on the down hook, sods law really but after a bit of banter his subsequent fish came on the top hook. We ended the day with 5 species of fish and around 12 Bream the best to me at about 2lb-12oz. Not the best days Bream fishing I have encountered but the sun was out the sea calm and the company ok so all in all a good day in my book.
