  10. Oli we have historically gone across the channel when you are at a wedding so it looks like it was meant to be Actually looking at the calendar not sure I could get away with that weekend. I will try and fall in with others plans
  11. That's a real shame but on the plus side (for me) I can probably make the next series of dates
  12. Really feel for you guys, decisions decisions. On the plus side the weather looks to subside late afternoon onwards and for the rest of the weekend although it may be a little bumpy coming home with a f4 on the nose

  14. Paul when we go to Alderney I leave my inflatable in it's bag below decks and inflate on arrival then leave on the mooring for the duration. I would assume you could do the same in St Pete's. The water taxi really does have a mind of it's own it is/was very hit and miss. If I were going I would take it just in case or borrow/share Steves

  17. After 2 days on the water I am totally cream crackered but wouldn't have missed it for the world. Our comp day was a none event, biggest Bream on our boat to Dean at 2lb we also had a 10lb conger and undulate ray on bream gear Well done to those that found the biggies

  22. Sam I am up for the BBQ after however even though my grandchildren will have their parents with them I think the kids would be better fishing off a boat where they know everyone. Not only that but granddads (read as me) would love to see them catch their first fish.
